根据初步调查，火灾疑似由烟火的余烬掉落至干燥稻草所引发，火势因风势强劲迅速蔓延，造成严重损失。被烧毁的车辆多为前来参加和观看烟火比赛的民众及“烟火高手”所有。

社交媒体上流传的视频显示，多辆汽车在火海中熊熊燃烧，现场浓烟滚滚，令人惊恐。事发时大多数车主正在观赛，等发现时已为时已晚，回头仅见爱车化为焦黑废铁。

目前消防部门和相关单位已赶到现场灭火，并调查起火具体原因。由于现场地势为旱季稻田，风势又大，灭火工作仍面临挑战。官方暂未公布确切起火源头。
