斯里兰卡警方8月25日通报：一名在科伦坡经商的中国商人遭到同胞绑架，并被迫通过USDT系统转走约6万美元（约1.8亿卢比）。

受害者在科伦坡RA De Mel Mawatha经营“华辉”商店。8月22日晚9时许，他在车内突遭绑架，被关押近一天，期间财物被抢劫，之后于次日被弃于路边。

目前，受害者正在纳拉亨皮塔一家私立医院接受治疗警方已立案调查。
